Burlington College is a private liberal arts college located in Burlington, Vermont. The goals of the college are to engage the student body in activities promoting social and community involvement on a local and international scale, while also providing traditional university level education through their degree programs. The college is also unique as it presents the opportunity for students pursuing degrees not traditionally offered by typical universities to specifically tailor their own degree through an individualized major program. The university offers students study abroad options within the European Union, and in 2008 Burlington College became be one of the few universities in the United States to gain approval to offer a study abroad program in Havana, Cuba in conjunction with...
