To be successful in the management of business, the accounting major must know principles of accounting, be familiar with business law and taxation, and possess the necessary skills with which to interpret and communicate financial records and figures. This program develops the necessary skills and academic background necessary for professional competence and self-assurance in a business environment. The completion of this program will lead to the Associate in Occupational Studies (AOS) degree, which may be used as entry into business or to further education at a senior college.
