Network Information Systems - Associate Degree at TESST College of Technology
The objective of the Network Information Systems program is to prepare students for a variety of entry-level careers in the network operations and computer technical support fields. Students will be exposed to all elements of an information system - hardware, operating systems, software, data, user interfaces, procedures and personnel. The program meets the skills standards for a network specialist as developed by the Northwest Center for Emerging Technologies and the National Science Foundation. The primary focus of the program is to give students a broad base of skills with which to pursue careers in the information technology sector with an emphasis on Microsoft systems. Graduates will qualify for entry-level positions in the fields of network administration, network engineering, computer technology, technical support, user support, computer operations and computer security.
