The objective of the Criminal Justice program is to arm students with knowledge, skills and work habits required for entry-level positions in a variety of positions in the criminal justice field. This Associate degree offers a level of education that provides students with a solid foundation in criminal justice and the skills of various specialized employment areas such as law enforcement, corrections and private security. Graduates of this program have a background versatile enough to qualify them for entry-level jobs and advancement in positions of responsibility and trust in police or sheriff's departments, other law enforcement offices, jails or prisons as detention or correctional officers, probation/parole, corporate security, public safety, or private detection or investigation.
