The Baccalaureate program in Fashion Merchandising at Bay State College combines specific fashion courses, with classes in general education, and business in order to prepare graduates in careers that stress fashion knowledge, written and oral communication skills, aesthetic sensitivity, and management acumen. The ideal candidate for employment following graduation will have a well-defined fashion sense, marketing savvy, and the ability to communicate with a diverse group of individuals from clients, to co-workers, to suppliers, to executives. To that end, the Baccalaureate curriculum for the Fashion Merchandising program was designed to meet the professional needs of the graduate.
