Keiser University?s Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing is designed for registered nurses. The RN will be prepared for a broader scope of practice and for entry into master?s or doctoral nursing programs. The curriculum provides the RN with a better understanding of the cultural, political, economic, and social issues that affect patients and influence health care delivery. Special emphasis will be given to the preparation of a nurse who is educated in the allocation and management of physical, fiscal, and human resources. Opportunities for the RN to specialize at the baccalaureate level will be provided in the form of various nursing, business, and criminal justice electives.
