The objective of the Network Information Technology program is to prepare students for a variety of entry-level careers in the network operations and computer technical support fields. Students will be exposed to all elements of an information system - hardware, operating systems, software, data, users, procedures and personnel. The program meets the skills standards for a Network Specialist as developed by the Northwest Center for Emerging Technologies and National Science Foundation. The primary focus of the program is to give students a broad base of skills to pursue careers in the information technology sector with an emphasis on Microsoft? systems. Graduates will qualify for entry-level positions in the fields of network administration, network support, computer technology and technical support.
