Certified Phlebotomy Technician I - Certificate Program at U.S. Colleges - North San Diego

This course is designed to provide the student with the skills and knowledge to work in a laboratory, hospital, clinic, or medical office setting. Forty hours of lecture covering both basic and advanced phlebotomy are combined with 40 hours of externship that allows for completion of at least 50 successful venipunctures and 10 skin punctures. Course includes both national and state certification.
