Students will learn the concepts of the food service industry, create pastry and baking goods, develop and hone their kitchen skills, discover the art of Garde Manger, create French and Classic Cuisine presentations and participate in a 5 week externship in a professional kitchen. Graduates of this program will have met the American Culinary Certification standards for Safety and Sanitation, Supervisory Management, and Nutritional Certifications.
