After a Cosmetology graduate passes the State examination, a license is received and the graduate is then available for entry-level employment in a salon in a cosmetology related position. The student becomes familiar with business and sales principles, professional ethics and psychology. Students study the Florida State laws governing the practice of cosmetology. Students become familiar with job seeking skills to prepare them for entry into the cosmetology profession.
