The University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton is a two-year, public-supported, open-admissions commuter college, primarily serving students and communities in west central Arkansas. The College accepts the proposition that the educational attainment of individuals within a democratic society is, in large measure, responsible for the advancement of that society. Recognizing the worth and dignity of the individual, the College is committed to serving multidimensional needs of its constituencies.

As a comprehensive institution, UACCM provides technical, occupational, academic, and avocational opportunities enabling its students to achieve professional, occupational, and personal goals and to make significant contributions to the economic, civic, and social development of society.

At the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton, we strive to help you achieve your educational and career goals. Whether you want to move quickly into an exciting new career, earn transferable college credits, or experience personal enrichment, we have an option for you. You may enroll in a career-specific program that can place you in the workforce in one to two years; you may enroll in a college-transfer program that will give you the first two years of a bachelor's degree; or you may enroll in courses for self-improvement or fun.

UACCM has several different degree options ranging from certificates of proficiency, which allow students to enter the workforce quickly, to associate degrees, which offer students the education required to continue to a four-year institution. These degree options include a wide variety of plans of study which let students specialize in both technical and liberal arts fields. UACCM also offers cooperative degrees with other colleges such as the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and the University of Arkansas Criminal Justice Institute for those who wish to get more specialized training after UACCM. The College also offers summer courses and dual-enrollment options which offer students the chance to take classes here and transfer the credits to another institution.

With approximately 2000 credit students per semester, UACCM is the perfect size for students looking for a quality education in a great learning environment. UACCM students benefit from individual, personal attention in each and every clasroom thanks to small class sizes and a low student-teacher ratio. Outside the classroom, intramural sports, an abundance of student organizations, and community service opportunities offer students the chance to get involved and truly become a part of the UACCM community. This mixture of classroom applications and extracurricular activities help make every student's college journey more fulfilling and complete, and prepares graduates with an education that will hold major value in the future.

Fall 2009 enrollment is 2423 students. UACCM has been ranked as one of the nation's 50 fastest-growing colleges with an enrollment of 2500 or fewer students. UACCM has experienced continuous enrollment growth since becoming a two-year college in 1991.
