College Profile: Huron School of Nursing
The mission of Huron School of Nursing is to educate individuals to assume the role of an entry level nurse generalist prepared to function in a variety of health care settings. Our goal is to provide competent, caring nurses to meet the nursing service needs of the Cleveland Clinic Health System and the community at large.
Huron School of Nursing, located in Cleveland, Ohio is a quality, progressive program offering dual credentials: a Diploma in Nursing from Huron School of Nursing and an Associate degree from Cuyahoga Community College or Notre Dame College. Applicants to the school may choose from the four semester Day or Evening/Weekend program. The School of Nursing places a strong emphasis on the study of nursing in both a classroom and clinical setting. The courses taken in the program include the majority of the support courses required for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) completion programs. Graduates of Huron School of Nursing are excellently prepared to begin nursing careers in a variety of health care settings. Huron School of Nursing is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) and approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The school is a member of the Council of Diploma Programs of the National League for Nursing and the Ohio Council of Hospital Based Schools of Nursing.
