College Profile: Sumter Beauty College
The mission of Sumter Beauty College, as an educational institution, is to prepare each student to receive his or her license after passing their state board examination. To strive to help each student achieve their greatest potential and obtain the skills necessary for success in the cosmetology field. The school's aim is to treat each student as an individual, and to promote each student's individual growth and knowledge. It is the school's desire to maintain high standards in education.
At Sumter Beauty College, we want our graduates to be both skilled and knowledgeable on such a level that they are capable of passing their state licensure examination and are considered as
“salon ready” in the field of Cosmetology. We want to provide a quality education that will help them to achieve their greatest potential and become successful in their chosen profession, and
want to instill in them a desire to continue their education and help promote the industry for the betterment of all Cosmetology professionals.
Here at Sumter Beauty College we have a staff of dedicated professionals who want nothing more than to see our graduates succeed. When our students graduate, receive their license and become professionals themselves; when they become a part of the beauty industry; when they can say, “I am a professional Cosmetologist, and I love what I do!” … we can consider ourselves successful.
Along with the general cosmetology courses, you will also have classes in Chemistry, Anatomy, Massage, Salon Business and People Skills. The entire time you are in school, our instructors will try to help you develop your communication skills and sales ability as well.
Sumter Beauty College is centrally located in the Sumter area with easy access to interstate highways and the downtown region. The school is located on Carolina Avenue, which is off
