Computer Support Technician (Diploma Program)
Through our Computer Support Technician Diploma program, we offer you the opportunity to gain the knowledge you need to search for entry-level employment in a field that is vital in today's business world. Through group discussions, lectures, and hands-on experience, you can learn about computer programs, hardware and software, and network systems. Upon graduation of this program, you can seek positions as a desktop support technician, help desk specialist, computer lab coordinator, office systems support specialist, hardware/software installer, or computer salesperson.
Dental Assistant (Diploma Program)
The objective of the Dental Assistant program is to prepare students with the knowledge, the technical skills and the work habits required for entry-level positions in the dental field. This program includes instruction in both the clinical (chairside) and administrative aspects of dental assisting. Graduates may become Registered Dental Assistants by passing the Registered Dental Assistant Examination. Students are eligible to sit for the State Board of Radiology Exam. Although the program is designed to prepare students to take various certification or license exams, the School cannot guarantee the student will pass those exams. In some cases, field experience may be necessary to be eligible to take or to successfully pass the exams.
Electrician (Diploma Program)
The objective of the Electrician program is to prepare students with the knowledge, technical skills and work habits required for an entry-level position as an electrician. This program provides instruction in the basic fundamentals of electricity and its practical applications; instructs the student in direct current and alternating current circuitry; residential, commercial, and industrial wiring, along with specialized areas such as motors and motor control circuits, transformer installations, and services requirements; and provides instruction of the National Electrical Code and its application to safe electrical installations. Students may use their skills in entry-level positions as electricians on new construction projects, on additions for restoration sites, or may secure commercial or industrial maintenance positions.
Medical Assisting (Diploma Program)
In recent years the medical assisting profession has become indispensable to the healthcare field. Not only have the physicians become more reliant on Medical Assistants, but their services are also being requested by hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes, as well as medical supply businesses, home health agencies, insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies. The objective of the Medical Assisting program is to provide students with the skills and the knowledge that will enable them to qualify for entry-level positions as Medical Assistants.
