Through the Computer Business Systems program, students can learn how to manage the application programs used for word processing, spreadsheet applications, and computerized presentations. The program incorporates the skills that are needed in the modern workforce and prepares graduates for Microsoft Office Specialist Certification as well as the Core level exam for Word, Excel, and Access. Graduates will be qualified to work as computer help desk employment, accounting clerks, bookkeepers, business office assistant managers, assistant managers, financial specialists and sales in the industries of finance, banking, sales, education, retail, manufacturing, law, healthcare and insurance.
Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (Diploma Program)
The Medical Office Specialist program can prepare you with the knowledge, technical skills and work habits required for entry?level positions in private physicians' offices, clinics, hospital clerical departments, professional medical facilities The program focuses on computerized medical procedures in insurance, bookkeeping, word processing and transcription. A medical office specialist will fill duties such as filing insurance claims for group and private practice insurance, preparing DRG?s, completing medical transcriptions, performing reception duties and taking responsibility for accounts, patient files as well as payroll and financial statements.
