They can later return to Coleman for evening classes to complete an associate, bachelor's or a master's degree. The Graphic Design program teaches the skills and provides the experience to start in this exciting career field. The program begins with an introduction to computer applications, and moves on to the fundamentals of drawing and graphic design. Students quickly acquire advanced skills in designing and producing print materials and Web pages. Students also build a professional portfolio to take to potential employers upon graduation. Upon graduation, students of the CGD program at Coleman University are well-prepared to seek employment as a creative director, digital publisher, digital artist, graphic designer, web designer, or desktop publisher.
At Coleman University, students learn on state-of-the-art equipment. The University's goal is to prepare students for any challenges they may face in the job market and that includes offering the latest computer equipment on which students learn. Included in the University's labs is a large number of computers including PC, Macintosh, midrange and mainframe. This equipment is updated regularly. Multiple computer platforms are interconnected via a switched Ethernet that provides students with highest level of experience on the most commonly-used computer systems found in business and industry.
