Job Description

  • The Tier II Support Technician will assist customers as well as Level I Technicians resolve support requests and incidents according to SLA expectations.  If you enjoy being customer-facing as well as hands-on to resolve issues and help your team and your customers achieve maximum success, then this is the position for you!

Job Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions

  • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software for internal staff, and perform preventative maintenance and support as needed
  • Receive, field and resolve incoming support requests from customers and those escalated by Tier 1 Technicians
  • Use ITIL Methodology to prioritize and resolve incidents effectively and efficiently, and document and track all support requests and resolutions
  • Meet and exceed benchmarks and SLA’s


  • 3-5 years in support and/or technology customer service role
  • Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
  • Comfortable working directly with customers and building rapport
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware and experience with desktop operating systems
  • Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • A+ and/or Net+ Certifications
  • Knowledge of POS equipment
