Responsibilities

 The Quality Technician collaborates with personnel at all levels of the company from plant floor to corporate directors to implement and maintain Quality Management System documentation.

  • Participates in the development and use of training materials and QMS audits.
  • Develops process documentation consistent with QMS requirements
  • provides training and associated materials
  • Participates in product and process audits.
  • Conducts continual improvement activities
  • Supports product and process development activities.
  • Provides technical support to engineers and operations personnel to ensure production and quality goals of the facility are met.
  • Provides input related to the evaluation of equipment, process and material modifications.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • PLC programming experience a plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate Degree plus 4 years practical experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ quality experience in a production environment
  • Six Sigma or Lean GB certification highly desired
  • Certified Quality Auditor certification from ASQ highly desired
