Job Description

Southern New Hampshire University’s traditional campus is seeking Undergraduate Adjunct Instructors for the School of Arts and Sciences. Adjunct instructors will teach a wide variety of Undergraduate-level courses on our main campus in Manchester, NH. Courses will mainly be offered during the day and the following disciplines are currently being offered:

  • Anthropology
  • Art History
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Communication
  • Creative Writing
  • English
  • Environmental Science
  • Game Design
  • Game Programming
  • Geography
  • Graphic Design
  • History
  • Humanities
  • Justice Studies
  • Law & Politics
  • Literature
  • Math
  • Philosophy
  • Psychology
  • Sociology

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related discipline and teaching experience at the college level (high school teaching will be considered).
  • PhD preferred

Adjunct Instructor essential duties include the following:

  • Teach Undergraduate courses as scheduled
  • Access student work and provide timely feedback
  • Use Brightspace (the Learning Management System) to support the course
