•Achieve sales goals and objectives. Conduct international market analysis.
•Follow up on all international sales leads and communicate opportunity to the appropriate Brand General Manager.
•Compile lists of prospective customers according to market segmentation based on information and knowledge of the industry for use as sales leads.
•As needed, travel internationally to call on established and prospective customers and distributors to solicit orders.
•Display products using samples and emphasize salable features. Quote credit tenns and prepare sales contracts for Distributors.
•Provide date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of productions and delivery schedules. Prepare weekly sales reports.
•Investigate and resolve customer problems.
•As needed, attend tradeshows and promotional events.
A well-qualified candidate will possess:
•A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university; or two (2) to three (3) years of related sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•One (I) to two (2) years of related business-to-business retail sales experience.
•Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals and government regulations.
•Superior communication skills with the ability to write reports, business correspondence and effectively present infonnation and respond to questions from groups of retailers, customers and distributors.
•Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
•Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and calculate discounts and percentages.
•Advanced level of experience in Microsoft Office Suites.
•The ability to travel internationally for extended periods of time. A valid driver's license.
•Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
