("NSI"), a group company of Nippon Seiki, located in Troy, MI, is a tier one supplier of instrument clusters and head-up display units for FCA US, General Motors, BMW, Honda, Harley Davidson, Suzuki, Polaris, Arctic Cat and other OEM's.

Purpose of Job

Purpose of this position is to manage and operator all the processes, services, tools, and equipment needed to run the facility at the level it is meant to function at.  Focus will be on the efficient operation of the facility in the following areas HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Janitorial, Grounds maintenance, Security, life safety, and other Property Management functions. 

Major Duties/Responsibilities

•Uses the CMMS system to perform inspections, prevenitive maintenance, calibration, functional and operational testing of the facility systems and equipment.
•Record and report on effecienties of the building systems and equipment
•Maintain equipment, tools, work area, building infrastructure in a clean, safe, and orderly manner
•Monitor and manage outside vendors and contractors for service agreements and other projects
•Trouble shoot and problem solve issues with the HVAC, Electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems
•Build relationships with multiple vendors to ensure the best quality and cost efficiencies for route and project maintenance
Education, Experience and Knowledge

Required and/or preferred level of education, knowledge and skills that are necessary.


Education

High School diploma or equivalent required


Related Experience

•HVAC certification (North American Techinian Excellence (NATE) certification), Mechinical Engineer degree or certification, and/or Electrical Journeyman preferred. 
•Certificate in trade school or equivalent work experience related to project management, vendor management, facilities, and/or maintenance  
Special Training or Competency

•Valid Drivers’ license required
•5 to 7 years related experience.
•CMMS, Lighting controls, BAS, security systems 
•Must understand the role of the facilities department and how it supports the main function of the business unit.
•Must be organized and able to multitask. 
•Experience with Janitorial services, grounds maintenance, and waste removal

Additional Information

Work Hours
Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5pm. Off-hours as needed.
Travel Requirements

5% international and/or domestic. 

If domestic travel is necessary, valid drivers’ license is required.

If international travel is necessary, valid passport is required.
