Sedgwick is a town in Hancock County, Maine, United States. The population was 1,102 at the 2000 census. The town includes the village of Sargentville. Sedgwick is home to many granite quarries, most of which are in various stages of abandonment. James Russell Wiggins, former U.S. Representative to the United Nations, is buried in Rural Cemetery. Sedgwick schools were once featured on a MoveOn.org segment.
