Sewaren is a census-designated place and unincorporated area within Woodbridge Township, in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. As of the United States 2000 Census, the CDP population was 2,780. PSE&G's Sewaren Generating Station is a 582 MW facility on 152 acres along the Arthur Kill. The facility has five steam generators and one combustion turbine. Four of the steam units were installed following World War II (1942 – 1951). (from wikipedia)
