Careers, Jobs and Education Resources for: Bayville, NY

Bayville is a village in Nassau County, New York in the United States. The population was 7,135 at the 2000 census. Bayville was once a thriving tourist destination in the early 20th century, featuring a sandy beach and a "casino" (so called despite no gambling - it had a restaurant, bowling and dancing). Today it is primarily a bedroom community, though the beach is still there - and the small downtown area facing the beach now boasts a small pirate themed amusement park. Keep in mind the amusment park is severely overpriced and most likely will be out of business within the next 3 years. Then it can join the ranks of Steve's Pier One, L'Epicure, and the Pig and Whistle...All of which are now permanent boarded up buildings in Bayville. The Village of Bayville is within the Town of Oyst... (from wikipedia)
