Strasburg is a borough in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,800 at the 2000 census. It was named by the early settlers in memory of the city in Alsace from which they had come. The center of the small town has pleasant and authentic historic ambiance. A stroll along Main Street from end to end will take about 30 minutes, passing a few restaurants and shops aimed mainly at tourists. The Strasburg Rail Road and the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, both nearby, are important tourist attractions. The town is often called "Train Town USA" because of the many railroad attractions in town. Much of the film Witness was filmed on a farm nearby. (from wikipedia)
