Lakeview is a town in Hall County, Texas, United States. The population was 152 at the 2000 census. Odell McBrayer (1930-2008), a Fort Worth attorney, was born in Lakeview. He was an unsuccessful Republican candidate for governor in 1974, having lost his primary to Jim Granberry, former mayor of Lubbock.
