Pardeeville is a village in Columbia County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,982 at the 2000 census. The city is home of the annual Watermelon Festival. It is the biggest event in Pardeeville, occurring the first Saturday after Labor Day. It consists of watermelon seed spitting contests, tractor pulls, watermelon eating contests, watermelon carving contests, and many other contests of course dealing with watermelons.
