Culloden is a census-designated place (CDP) in West Virginia. Most of Culloden is in Cabell County, with the remainder in Putnam County. As of the 2000 census, the CDP population was 2,940 (2,475 in Cabell County, 465 in Putnam County). The community was named by L. R.
